Cat Talent

Cat Notes

  • All cats are safe around people and in the busy on-set environment.

  • All cats will be crated and secured between takes.

  • Active Cats: Readily walk around set and interact with new people. These cats are ideal for movement shots, natural interactions with actors and point a to point b travel. They eat treats and love a good dose of catnip, even in new environments!

  • Passive Cats: Showcase products well by staging the cat on set. These cats stay where they are placed and will accept handling (picking up, petting) from actors. These cats get comfortable so movement shots can be tricky. These cats are often labeled as “lazy” but are a great addition to set when you need a variety of photos or are only shooting in one room.

Josie Jalapeno - Josie is the best of both worlds! She is happy to hunker down where she’s put but will also move off the spot if given enough time. She can be held close or placed on a couch or cat tree. Josie is not one to just meander around the room greeting everyone but she’s very patient and tolerant.

Carl & Cedric - These boys can be held by an actor and will generally stay put. Both boys will come on set together but will be separated for the acting. Being together helps them settle in faster in the new environment but they are fine for the acting period.

Mr. Miyagi - Confident and lovey! This boy will roll around, head butt and greet everyone on set. He’s confident, talks and loves being scratched. Does will with kids and adults.

Raja - Raja loves to snuggle deeply into a kitty bed. If you are looking for the “sleepy” look, this guy has it nailed! He’ll stay put all day, even next to a quiet vacuum, and is not a cat who would wander.

Tuck Tuck - Brave and adventurous, Tuck Tuck loves going on walks with his mom! He’s not one to stay put but will wander around set or move from place to place for treats. He’d rather be moving around than being held and cuddled but will come up for some pets or to sit next to you and stare out the window.

Church - Church is ready for his first debut! Owned by a trainer, Church is comfortable around people and dogs. He tends to stay where he’s put but loves to get scratches. He can be seen helping his mom train and raise puppies in his spare time!
